bring on the funny

http://www.theallineed.com/selfhelp/05013002.htm

I thought this was a good article. I'm a firm believer in the idea that a sense of humor can get you through just about anything. It can also help alleviate awkward social situations.

Anyway, it's not very long and makes some good points.

RE: bring on the funny

That should make us all think about how we are...especially when we find ourselves in a relationship.

Well worth reading.

Sometimes I wonder about my life.

I lead a small life, well valuable but small. And sometimes I wonder. Do I do it because I like it or because I haven't been brave?

So much of what I see reminds me of something I read in a book when shouldn't it be the other way around?

I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void.

So, goodnight dear void.

Thanks dave...

I expected this wouldn't be a very popular thread. Nobody wants to laugh or be silly when they're feeling down. The thing is, that's the time in our lives when we need it the most.

RE: bring on the funny

You are absolutely right! No one ever seems to want to talk to me when I'm in one of those serious funks... But if I'm laughing at something or joking, everyone suddenly has something to say! (Bastards, lol)

...The bird turned, head tipped, suspiciously, on one side, and it stared at him with bright eyes. "Say 'nevermore' " said Shadow. "F*** you" said the raven. It said nothing else as they walked through the woodland together...

lol ^^ I think that if you have a moon but your funny with it and appear that your taking the mick rather then crying about it ppl are moor willing to listen. Some of the best laughs I have had is when I was in hospital.

There is a lot to be said about laughing in the face of insanity Smile

HA HA Got him!

That was a wonderful article. If only people could find the funny in alot of things around them. I guess I just run into the wrong people lol. *Toasts* "Here's to laughter and being able to smile and laugh, even when the joke is on you Toungue"

Keep it positive.

Not a good pic of him, but this is the original Doodle dog. He was Cocker Spaniel blonde and white. The same markings and liver nose as the Brittany in the avatar.
Doodle, you are greatly missed and I love you.
