I'm writing this just seconds after my dad left my room. I had my door closed and was writing a paper for English and he comes upstairs with folded clothes. My sister moved out and I have both rooms, but I was in my old room with the door shut. He opens the door without knocking and puts the clothes on my old bed and did it just to be nosy. I could have been watching porn and wacking off for christ's sake! Unbelievable! I swear, I'm 20 but I feel like I'm 12. Then he tells me I need to start dating girls and insinuates that I should play around with different women. He's such a dope because if I did that and caught something and the condom broke and i got a girl pregnant I'd never hear the end of it. I wish I were alone a lot of the time. Or at least only with people who understood me and who appreciated me and I enjoyed being around them.

alot of ppl have problems like this. Whatever u may decide to do , dont even forget that hes ur dad no matter how annoying or nosy he may seem coz in the end all he wants is whats best for u.

If u cant tolerate him ,move out , get ur own place. If ur in college stay in their dorms. I know parents can be sometimes annoying but more often than not theyre just concerned about you. Try to have a heart to heart talk with ur dad, that should fix things. If it doesnt just tell him that.

I really hope it works out for you dude, try to take life easily, try to get comfortable with it. Dont take what ur dad did too personally, hes ur dad after all

Anyway, have You tried talking to him about this? Put down Your foot i mean. He gotta start realizing You want some damn privacy! Ask him if his dad did that to him and what he felt about it if he did!

All dads are like that. Doesn't sound like he's being particularly mean to me. If that's the worst you can say about him then you're dead lucky.

Yea it annoying when parent do that, but hey your dad isn't all that bad. My dad he a lot worse, and sometime I wonder what goes on his head, but at least he knock on my door, unlike my mom who is way too nosy.

Anyway both of my parent are well "old fashion", which is why I'm here, if that the proper term of course. I guess that a reasonable hint
