This year I have been trying very hard to not only be open to social relationships, but to do my part in encouraging them as well. To put it mildly, this has been met with some mixed results. I've started trying to connect with people around me through various means and it goes well for a while...

Can't agree more. I put off getting my license for a very long time. Being able to drive makes a world of difference. This will be my second ever new years resolution, which is to make a sustainable friendship.

I use my phone more as a watch and for scheduling than anything else. On the rare occasion that it does ring, I usually think it's a notification or reminder for something.
