Are there thousands? Millions?
  1. Not into partying (calm personality, likes keeping her head)
  2. Constructive/Positive (solution oriented.. not into drama)
  3. Outgoing (okay with/likes trying new things)
  4. Kind (treats everyone respectfully)
  5. Has 'nerdy' attributes (Is important to have something in common for discussions and indoor hobbies)
You never know what you're gonna like of course, but if I have to guess some traits I'd enjoy in a partner, it would have to be these...
So my question is: Where are these women and where do they gather? Libraries? Coffee shops? Are they likely to have pets? Cats vs dogs? What kind of education (if any)?

Have you ever met anyone like this? Share :shy:

I guess that my username itself excludes me from your list of preferences.

Bookshops might be an idea, I've seen several people posting that they'd like a guy to ask about the book they're looking at and offer to buy it for them. Also here :)

They are usually found with their children. :D In parks, grocery stores, toy stores, etc. lol

Where are they before they have children then? ;)

:(

I don't think anyone can write their preferences down in a list though. You'd never get it right.

Plus, if I didn't want any drama at all I'd have to make a machine to date.

I cant answer that. :D I wasnt the same person before I had my kid.

Also, a little drama isn't always a bad thing in my opinion. It can make life a little more interesting.
As long as it's not "All Drama, All The Time." :D

So you mean I can't find one, I'll have to "make" one? (Or find something premade?)

Always did. Always will.
He's mentally too old to be the young man that he is :p

If you ever find any girl like that please let me know, I've been looking for one with at least 2-3 of these traits and never found it, let alone having all 5, girls in my country all like to party, go clubbing and shop constantly :p Sure some of them are nice but their interests don't make it easy to connect with.

Yes there are plenty of girls like this. But the things is... Things like these you cant know in a person by first meeting. You only see looks and how well she interacts with you. Thats why everyone finds it hard to find someone. They always think bout opposite sex not giving them enough chance to get to know them but they are also doing it. So i guess... Either you learn the basics of socializing and flirting and be good at it that you can get any date you want... Or leave it all to chance and meet everyone as friends while willingly opening yourself up to being friends with everyone. I think that is how it goes. But im not sure.. Cos up until now, im still ' enjoying my life and HOPEFULLY (big emphasis on hopefully-.-) bumping myself to the right person' . No luck still ^·^

A reason people go out clubbing or partying is because it makes it easier to meet someone though, it just helps. They probably have other interests as well but having a conventional social life like this just improves your chances of making friends and meeting a partner. I'd say if you do not want to go out and meet someone in an environment socially designed to help you meet someone, then you're not making it easy for others to connect with you.

I get a lot of people don't like crowds or loud music on here, but sometimes in life you just have to drag yourself through things to help you get what you want. You'd find a lot of people out there are looking to settle down and would be more than happy to take a step back form their social lives if they meet a partner. Its the classic complaint of friends isn't it "Oh he/she used to be out every weekend, but since they met their partner we hardly see them", so you're only buying into a lifestyle for as long as you need to.

If you don't want to go out and socialise in the socially accepted way, thats fair enough but it will make it much harder for you to meet someone.

^ good point and well said....

Also.. Not that I go clubbing.. I think i went 2 or 3 times but it can be the most liberating thing you will do. Cos in that sinful dark looking crowd, you could just dance like crazy without ever worrying looking like a fool. My two cents, do not judge something just because a few people do it or that a lot of people do it. Try it for yourself before you make any hard judgement against it cos the person who dont really care about certain things, wont even bother to have a comment about it. Except drugs.. Dont try it to know you will like it :D (except maybe for natural stuff but still) (wary)
