So, I'm currently in a ldr with the most amazing American girl, I'm from the uk and we are having problems trying to work out how we can make the move, I'm a mechanic and she is a manager for a coach company so neither of us are in jobs that are in high demand, is there any hope? :/ and is there anyway we could make the move :/? Or are we doomed, i really need some advice, please, if anybody can help

Answer this first: What "move" are you talking about? Are you talking about living together, or just about the next step in your relationship?

That ^ and where exactly are you planning on moving to? You moving there to America or your girl moving to the UK?

If one of you moves to be with the other, the one who moves could retrain for a different job if there are no vacancies in the line of work they are in at present.
However, it sounds as though you both have skills which, even if there isn't a vacancy which is the same, your skills could 'transfer' successfully to another field. Managing a coach company involves skills which would be transferable to another managerial post in a different field, and you could broaden your skill base as well.

I don't know about her type of job, but you'd be surprised where mechanics are needed. Even if it's not immediate, it's still a valuable skill to have. And it doesn't hurt to branch off into a multitude of vehicles and transportation types.

Thanks everyone, we're open ATM about who will move, she lives in fl at the minute. And I'm in the uk, by the next step I mean living together, so one of us would need to get a visa which allows us to work

That's some useful stuff. I would add this if you intend to move to the U.S.: http://creditbridge.com/2016/03/moving-to-america/

Gives you a good idea of everyday things you wouldn't necessary think of

Honestly, I think in a long distance relationship, you won't always have the chance to move in together, at least not in the immediate future. It's better to try and find the money to meet up a few times a year for vacation and things like that until the opportunity to move closer, perhaps some kind of job opportunity, presents itself. That's my take on it at least.

Well i think you must decide what you want : You want to move in usa with her or you want her to come to UK .If you think its deserve this girls fight for her and move it on USa there its also a good economy and you can find jobs easy
