I wrote this at the age of fourteen when I had a major crush on a girl from school. At best, she treated me with indifference and I do wonder what I even saw in her now. However, I am proud of this poem. One of my 'darker' pieces of work I guess. Feel free to comment if you really have enough time to waste.

Love Her In My Mind

I can't describe the way I feel, my love for her runs high
The reason that she's mean to me I really don't know why

I'd fight and bleed my body dry for the sake of seeing her smile
But she cuts me, mocks me, laughs at me and treats me like a child

In my heart I know she's hell for me, she'll only make me weep
But the heaven I see within her is a vision I must keep

She's a demon, an angel, a lover, a theif, a torment to my heart
But in the midst of what I feel I can't tell them apart

I hope one day she'll love, adore and treat me well and kind
But just for now I'll be content to love her in my mind

I don't usually read the poems, mainly because some are too long and I can't concentrate long enough to understand. Yesh, I iz retarded :p

But I read this one, understood it, and really liked it. Good stuff :D

Thank you kind sir. If someone can relate to it, that's the best compliment possible in my book.
