I desperately want to meet people of my own age but I don't know where or how to. I am not a social outcast; just a lonely shy person.


I want to meet people that like going out; I want to make new friends.

Well joking aside it is a difficult thing to do.

The best way is networking. If you have any friends then make friends with there friends. Even if what there into is not what your into try and seem interested that way you might meet other ppl from them and hopefully you well fined ppl that are into the same things as yourself.

Another way is if your already not at college or uni try a college course. About anything. Dose not matter what. your not there for the work anyway, but to meet other ppl.

Well this just some ideas that I have. But its not easy and it well take time. But use all resources that's available to you.

Think of a hobby you have. Find a place in your area that you can do said hobby and meet people in the process. An example is how I love to play video games, so I will go to this local arcade type place where they have a lot of gaming systems set up and you can play with whoever you want. Try to find something like that and you should be fine.

Sorry if that was a bad example.

What kind of people do you wanna meet?
What you do mean..people that likes going out ?
I guess if people like going out...they should be out and about everywhere.lol

It depends where you live...and what's availabe for you.
Most small towns have bars for bar flys...but there's no body in there except old drunks.

Are there night clubs availiable or just bars or pool halls.

Are there , chess clubs , auto clubs, hobbie clubs...etc ?....aside from strip clubs .lol

Is there a decent size mall in your area ?

If you live in a city...there's people everywhere and always something to do...

Where do you live...? in urban, small city, in a small town, or way yonnder ?lol

What do like to do?

I'm pretty sure there's millions of people at the beach today and everyday...it's only a skip and hop away from where I live though.
There's millions of people in casino and casino everywhere too where I am at ...but that's not a good idea.lol

I have somewhat geeky interests but the 'geeks' do not interest me and from my experience are way out there or too aloof and boring (kinda like me, but I can be loud and silly).
