The thing about hitting the wall is that it can happen to anyone at any age of any gender and at any time. There's an old saying, "The Wall is undefeated," meaning: "Everyone hits the wall in life. It's all in a matter of when, where and how." Hence, why The Wall is undefeated.
I say (to himmm) ….then just embrace it 😇✨dont be a bitter twisted weirdo about it lol and stop wishing it on everyone else -end rant-

What are people doing for New Year's Eve?

Going to see my friends, but I don't mean that as a flex in any way - this is only the second time I've seen them all year, last night being the first. It's become a rare opportunity for me to see them anymore these days.

...Not invited anywhere. I'll probably head over to my aunt's.

That's cool actually. I think it's a good idea.

I do like going out on New Year's Eve, but at the same time, I've never regretted staying in with family either, and I'm glad for the time we spent together, I look back on it warmly.

My recollections of last night are hazy to say the least but to be fair I was left unsupervised

Today was pretty much normal for me except that is has been raining all day. So, I've been doing computer work (cleaning folders, deleting old stuff, organizing, and backing everything up again.)

Sometimes that stuff is essential for peace of mind. Decluttering feels nice...I should set aside some time for that, before the year gets too far underway (y)

I took 2 weeks off from running due to the extreme cold, and that coincided with the holidays.

Now the extreme cold is gone, holiday season is over, and it's time for the "fun" part of burning off all these calories... 🏃‍♂️

Hoping to find a shoe sale too because it's almost time to buy another pair.

Do you find it hard to start back up again or are you excited about it? I usually feel dread about getting back into something. But, I usually get right back in place and get moving along.

Maybe a little bit hard, but mostly I just see it as something I have to do, because the alternative is to regain all the weight I put so much time and energy into losing. I just don't want to lose all my progress, and for it to all have been for nothing, so that keeps me motivated to get back into it.
