If you could choose any what would it be?
Or maybe you already have the dream job?

I wish I was a scientist. An astrophysics or astrobilokogy, or bioinformatics.

I wanted to be a cop. In a sense I still do, but I'm too old for it now and I'm not sure I'd still be able to show as much restraint in certain situations.

Of course, wrestler as well. Definitely too old now though lol. So, I'm working on truck driver now. It's not a dream job, but I'll make boatloads of cash.

I'm an electrician right now and i dont think id trade that for anything. Maybe branch out more into carpentry and plumbing, but that's about it.

Back when i was little i had a new dream job every year. I remember archeologist, astronaut, farmer, and soldier. I wouldnt mind owning a farm, itd have to be with a family, though. Id like that alot. So maybe that.

There are lots of things I love to do but as soon as money came into the equation I would lose interest. To me it’s like putting a value on your pleasures or happiness. I just have a hard time with that. Some may argue no, you will be getting paid to do what you love but I feel like it’s selling what you love and enjoy. I’m not motivated by money though. That may sound immature and silly but it’s worked for me.

I think I had changed the dream jobs more often, than once a year. Astronaut and archeologist were there. Also fireman, architect, painter, lighthouse keeper, lego designer and movie-maker(whatever it was, there was no such a soft that time))) My parent say I wanted to be a doctor or a bride(and didn't believe it was possible to be a doctor and a bride in one time) as well, but I don't remember it.
Among others I wanted to work with the computers. In this point of view dreams come true.

There was mention of astrophysics in this thread. That is something that does interest me and would be quite the dream to work within that field. As an alternative, a radio dj. Well why not as it means I'll be able to sit back, play some tunes, talk honeysuckle and get paid for it.

Painter! Yeahh i've had that too, i forgot about that. Also hermit, i guess that never really went away. I was also really into cars for a bit, though i can't remember if there was a job related to it that i wanted. I guess it's easier to be a doctor and bride at the same time, since you'd be wearing white clothes regardless. What do you do with computers?

Night watchman at a grain silo.
Or...being the next Dennis Hof.
Not sure which is better...

I make them to do some staff people don't want to do on their own) Coding. Sometimes I wonder what do they do with me

I dreamt of AI and robotics though, but I'm far from it now, unfortunately. I still would like to be in machine learning or data science.

This question has annoyed me because I can’t even think of ever having a dream job as a kid. I’m sure when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I answered with whatever I liked at that time but for the life of me I can’t recall a single thing I might’ve said.

If it was after something I'm fascinated with ... a gynecologist but it also comes with dealing with illness and that'd have a bad impact on me ... second choice would be anything related to software (well paid and low human interaction) ... third choice an university professor (great life structure)

Basically, everything that I wanted to do, even with a college degree in the field you can pretty much only be an educator. 🤷‍♂️ 😔 That's what happens with Liberal Arts degrees these days. Or you can write a book on your subject and try to get into online influencing and creating a community and online market for yourself.

Here's the problem:
I am good at neither of these things. :(

I'm not social enough to be able to handle being an influencer, and also I kind of morally and philosophically believe that education should be free, so that people have the option to educate themselves because that's, kind of how I learn, by teaching myself. 😕
