I had a crush on a kid named Joseph. He was in grade 7, I was in grade 2. We went to a school that was k-8, so he was pretty old to me haha. I remember him being a goalie on the local hockey team, and I had a crush on Curtis Joseph at the same time, so I just believed it was meant to be haha.

The reason I started crushing on him, was because one of his classmates pushed me down on the playground, and Joseph jumped up and beat the crap out of the kid lol. Every day at recess, I would bring him a zebra cake and for some reason he'd entertain me.

I live far away from there now, and don't even know his last name. I have no idea what he's like now, but if he carried his awesomeness throughout life, I hope he's quite happy.

How sweet !! You like a protector!

My crush was a talented football player, he was perfection, I actually asked him... I did... I asked!! to go to the dance with me 🙈 He said no.. but he still spoke to me so that was a win in my book😅

Are we talking celebrity crushes? School mate crushes? Nerdy-kid-down-the road crushes?

Celebrity crushes: Hahaha. . . Boy George - and no, my tastes have definitely not changed over the years. I'd still do him. :ROFLMAO: Sam J. Jones, the star from the 1980 movie Flash Gordon - yes, tastes have definitely changed. Totally not into the muscle-bound All-American football player type, haha. Although I still LOVE that movie.

School mates: Alvin. I was in Grade 7, he was already out of school and worked at the local record store in the mall. He looked like one of the guys from Canadian band Platinum Blonde - teased-up 80's style blonde hair, make-up, tight pants, cool jackets. I used to skip school to go hang out in the record store. Never actually talked to him because I was crazy shy, but just secretly lusted after him. Funny enough, I just happened to come across his social media account a while back - he looks positively hideous now.

I think my tastes have stayed relatively the same over the years. I was always attracted to the nerdy/geeky types, the guys who were just a little different, the shy ones and the flamboyant gay men who would never have any interest in me at all, heheheh. I'm not into 'rugged' type guys or lots of muscles - I like men who are more on the feminine side.

We were classmates for 8 years in elementary / middle school.
She is that mysterious girl in class, doesn't talk a lot, but always nice. She wants to have kids and all that traditional life. Me not.
She is type of girl for me, but I'm not type of guy for her.
She wants to merry some traditional ordinary hardworking nice guy.
And not me, lazy playboy, Tony Stark genius type of guy.

Well, I'm soo interested in taste, opinions, how preferences change over time,
Do you remember your first crush? Are they completely different to what you like today?
Do you even know why you ever liked them? lol
My first crush was Freya, she was 10 years older than me and sang in a band, she had the most beautiful eyes, incredible legs and an awesome deep gravelly voice, probably from too much alcohol & cigarettes. I started playing the guitar because of her, the fantasy was I'd join her band and we'd live (un)happily ever after, The reality was I was too shy to speak to her and fell in love with the guitar.

I saw her a few years ago down Camden market in a florescent shell suit dragging her (?) 3 kids into a poundshop, the beautiful eyes and incredible legs were long gone replaced with a haunted and defeated look  and shamefully I ducked into a shop doorway to avoid her because I really am that shallow.

Yikes my crush is still looking hot as ever, I bumped in to him on my way to visit my cousins. He was sooooooooooo hot. He has a ugly wife though... just saying... 😅 🙈

My first crush was Thomas. He asked me on a paper: do you want to "go with me" (german, means to go into a relationship with someone) with three squares to mark with a cross with options to answer yes, no, maybe.
I was about 8 years old and I remember looking at it with a friend, giggling a lot and...children, who are young, first don't get it, they took it literally...and asking myself: Going...where to?
I was a late starter. lol
Two older girls explained to me way much later, what this was about.
I can't remember, which square I marked. I just know we played a lot together and liked each other very much and we always wanted to do school projects together. I guess I shared my breaktime snack with him. 😊

I didn't knew what kissing and relationships were until I was like 16 , before 16 it was all like , innocent looking. xD

Oooh this is difficult. There's my all time childhood crush called Nicola, and then there is Heather Thomas of Fall Guy fame.

I spent my entire school life with Nicola, a beautiful high achiever, who also lived a few houses away. And with relevance to previous threads, blonde too.

Some of you might remember in the days before Facebook, we had Friends Reunited. Nicola was the first person to request me. Then married and two kids of her own, she remembered me fondly. If only I had been more confident in school.

Heather, now she has toyed with me since the early 80's. T.v.and movies, being all sexy, blonde, and more sexy. I had several posters that swore she loved me. Anyways, she forfeited Hollywood, became reclusive, and the restraint order says I'm not allowed to call her anymore. But she definitely loved me!

Oh and yeah, a Black Trans Am called Trigger, I will love that until the end of my days.

It was Heather Locklear for me, she married Tommy Lee and the one from Bon Jovi who's not Bon Jovi so I reckon if I could've got over her security fence I'd have been in with a shout. 🧗‍♂️

Tommy did actually think he had married Heather Thomas. Locklear's marriage to him was a farce, he was coked to within a inch of heaven. Likewise, her marriage to Richie Sambora, both of them were huge drinkers, which exaggerated all their insecurities.

But yeah, think I'll dig out my ladder.

My first celberty crush was... Star Saber(a transformer from Transformers:Victory series) 🤣 Maybe it's the reason why I'm single ))
I don't remember well, who was the first, but I think Jude Law if only humans are considered(or perhaps Rupert Everett or Alain Delon)

And in real life it was a school mate, he had the beautiful blue eyes and he recited the poems so beautifully.
Yeap, my tastes changed, I don't care about a beauty of the eyes anymore and even less about the poems. but Star Saber is still the best!
