i bought my own house last year! i live alone, except for my adorable calico cat, Akyia.

i have a BA in philosophy and english literature from a small private college.

i love to read--philosophy, classic lit., postmodern lit., and books about depression (because i've been depressed most of my life).

i like to jog, hike, rollerblade, and when it's too cold outside, i work out on my eliptical. i have nice (though short) trails near my house and i travel to parks with good hiking trails.

i watch a fair amount of tv shows and movies. My favorite shows are Criminal Minds and L&O: Criminal Intent. i love Reid and Goren.

i like to cook and bake.

i enjoy card games and board games. i play them with my family a lot.

i'm trying to grow veges in my backyard.
