What's to say. Been married 18 yrs. Got married later in life. Have 2 children at home. Wife is a wonderful person, great roommate, 20 years younger than me. We have grown apart. No intimacy exists any longer by my choice, but we are friends of a sort. (There is the occasional hug, even a "peck" of a kiss around her relatives.) My life's experience and her's are dramatically different, mine being the more expansive and liberal of the two. Intellectually, we really don't have a lot to talk about, so we don't. I have 3 college degrees, she doesn't. I have seen a lot of the US, she hasn't. We were married when we discovered she was pregnant shortly after beginning to date, but I love my kids and no regrets. I grew up without a Dad, and they are the reason I stay. ISO friendly understanding friends who have some life experience and are slow to judge their fellow human beings. People who can disagree without making the other person an object of hatred and anger. People I can share with and not regret the fact I opened my mouth.
