I'm a husband and a father. My interests range from medieval Latin to amateur astronomy. I would rather read a good book than watch a sports event on TV (although I do tune it for the super bowl and sometimes the world series.) A psychologist once told me that I am a "social introvert", and that terms suits me just fine.

Christian spirituality is important to me, and I sometimes think that the notion of "a spirituality of loneliness" makes a great deal of sense, but I am still struggling to articulate what it means.
