I'm a husband and father but find it challenging to make any friends. I had two "best friends" in high school and college but have let them drift away, especially after moving 2000 miles from my original home. Since then I have had acquaintances at work that tried to become friends but I always find a reason to stay distant. As a kid I was bullied for 6-7 years so I'm pretty sure that has something to do with this predicament. A professional helped me with some of the issues, and there is always my family, but I still feel lonely.
