What would a Canadian quest for? Bring your imagination!

This is probably a weird question, but looking for some creative and fun input - think along the lines of Tolkien/Lord of the Rings. Imagine you’re part of a fellowship of eight other people (in this case, Canadians) and you’re on a quest - what would the quest be?

I have this little mini-project I’m working on this weekend and, strangely (for me), I‘m kinda lacking in the creativity department - hoping for some unique brain fodder to get the creative gears going. There’s some wildly inventive people on this forum, so figured I’d toss the question out into the ether and see what happens.

I'm not Canadian so I don't know.
but I can imagine something like "You have my sword! And you have my bow! And my frying pan!" (that would be Callie)
she'll whack both Aragorn and Legolas.
I'm kidding...

Can I ask what is the mini project you're working on?

In my story, Ottawa would be the Mordor I would be avoiding, in a quest to make it to the maritimes. Instead of elven bread, we would be eating those powdered sugar with fruit insides timbits, funded by selling reservation cigarettes and ending with the realisation that the wind sucks everywhere in the country. We may lose one or two along the way, when we realize we can outrun them to save ourselves from the bears!

Hahaha, oh it's related to Lego. I follow this particular Lego blog and they're having a contest - win a copy of the newly released (and awe-inspiringly fantastic) Rivendell set. You have to put together your own "Fellowship" using Lego minifigs and write at least a paragraph on who your fellowship is and what they're questing for. I figured I'd use 'Canadian' as my theme - pretty much have the Fellowship characters down pat I think (a hipster with beard, flannel shirt and customary toque (even in the summer), the 'polite' one, a hockey player of course, a parka-wearing minifig, a Timbits guy, maybe a politician in there for good measure, heh!). It's the quest part I'm a little stumped on - what are they on a quest for?? Got some ideas mulling around and thought you guys might provide some extra inspiration.

Awesome stuff here! I was definitely thinking along those lines - Timbits and poutine MUST be in there somewhere for sure. And being on the West Coast, I was thinking a cross-country trek to the Maritimes too. And the wind comment - bwaahahahahaha!!!! That's gold! Thanks. Maybe a quest to drink Screech and Kiss the Cod in Newfoundland?

I'm going for the Canadian Arctic Tundra for my setting. The quest? to find a fabled Algonquian shaman. Why do we need this mythical Shaman? to lift an ancient curse, the curse of the Wendigo, an ancient curse that has transformed our protagonist into a were beast . How did our protagonist get cursed? obviously by accidentally, being tricked into or deliberately eating human flesh in the sacred woods.

8 Canadian adventurers? I'm going for Wolverine, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson , Pamela Anderson and 4 of the Toronto Blue Jays because I'm all out of Canadians now.
