Has your family ever been involved in an extended fight (not necessarily physical but any type of extended dispute) with another family?

Yes, but well before my time. During the war many families were evacuated from my birthplace, Jersey, Channel Islands. They were brought to many parts in the UK. Mostly two families sharing one home. My mum as a child told me my grandma didn't get on at all with the other lady during shared times of the kitchen. Ooo, saucepans at the ready to clonk each other although never happened, but close.

When you were younger, out for the night with your friends, did you get home well too late, no key. So you had to sleep in the shed or another place in your garden?

I got home pretty late, but I always had a key. Sometimes I slept over at my friends' houses though.

If you could win a million dollars, but to do so you would have to listen to nothing but Wang Chung's "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" every waking hour of every day for a year, would you do it?

You can't cheat by just not listening to music for a year. That makes the deal null and void.

And also, if other people listen to music, they hear the song that's actually playing.
But you only hear "Everybody Have Fun Tonight".

I would have to say any animal because they have such integrity. They are who they are, are true to who they are regardless of anything. But a perfect one for me personally would be a cat.

the most perfect creature is the crab (semi-joke)

for me personnally, I'm more of a plant guy, so I'll say trees in general, especially Birch trees or Pine trees

what does your ideal garden look like ?

It would be a huge plot of land with every kind of fruit tree-- apples, peaches, plums, pears, oranges, etc. Then there's a vegetable garden with every kind of vegetable, especially corn on the cob, tomatoes, and broccoli. And of course, I grow watermelons. Over in another area is my flower garden: Pansies, columbine, dianthus, wild roses are some favorites. And surrounding everything are honeysuckle and lilac bushes! Talk about a piece of heaven! : )

I don't have any bumper stickers on my car.

That is an extremely tough question. I don't like the idea of being financially unstable, nor of having a career I have no passion for. But I'll have to go with the financial stability that would enable me to pay for the hobbies I love.

I would probably be passionate about a very niche type of custom-made terrariums, where I would build according to the client's dimensions and wishes. I would combine that with my love for woodworking and metalworking, and find an extraordinary balance between glass, wood, iron, plants and water (along with rocks and light fixtures but you get the idea)

Those are beautiful! Like entering another world. I can imagine how much joy it would be to create them!

It's interesting that you gave guitar lessons because I used to teach piano. It was my main form of employment --teaching piano out of my home, for 20+ years : )

yes, it's horrible. However, when you're not in a good place mentally, it's easier to lose your cool etc... if I felt better, I would obly lose my cool when the situation needs it

how many plants do you own inside the house ?

6 in bedroom, 3 in living room, 2 in kitchen plus random twigs I’m rooting, a window shelf full of succulents in the laundry room. Oh and some air plants hanging in bathroom
