I kind of screwed up the introduction. Nvm.

Hi, 24 from Singapore.
My core believe is that pride is the root of loneliness. To have human connection is to let go of your pride. And honestly I just don't value it enough to debase myself that way. The things I enjoy in life don't require it.( Reading, offline gaming and YouTube).

Also I believe humanity is due for extinction. And there is no purpose, life is boring. Reading is carrying me, but every year it becomes a little more tedious and repetitive, but I don't want to commit suicide . Feels like a waste, I mean who knows right? I am not afraid of death, if I die in an accident I'm pretty sure I'll die with a smile on my face because I won't be letting anyone down.
That's it, Shun.

Hello shun, nice to have you.

I don't read much myself but I do watch a lot of YouTube, what videos are you into?

Hello sky,
Mostly lastweektonight ( hence my pessimism on humanity) , anime deconstructions and documentaries on science and nature.

I'm interested in what you watch , running out of things to watch .

Thank you, Shun

I watch a wide variety of videos like movie, game, and anime reviews, funny gameplay videos, videos on obscure games, and videos on Japanese traditions, history, and culture. Food reviews too where I can find them since I am foodie 😁.

If you are into gameplay videos and like edgy/strange humor then I would recommend oneyplays. I watch them a lot in the background while I do other things. Sometimes I watch game grumps too.

Thank you sky,
do you have a specific channel for the Japanese tradition, history and culture stuff.
Sounds right up my alley.

As for games, the last one I watched was dark souls long long ago, the pace of release now adays is too fast for me to keep up.

My recommendation for science and nature is the channel( Real Science) . I think it's a one woman show, the quality is mind-blowing. Highly recommended if it's even slightly in your wheelhouse.

Also thank you everyone for making my exit from lurkerdom easy with your kind words. Also how does one quote other posts?

I also just realised my OP was extremely dark. In my defense it's 3am here and I am drop dead tired.

Gdnight, Shun

There's nobita and takashii from Japan for interview style videos and opinions from the modern Japanese people.

There is also abroad in Japan for food and culture and oddities from all over Japan as well as shogo your friend in Tokyo.

Not to mention gaijin goomba for Japanese folklore, history, and traditions and their parallels from video games and shows.

Finally, if you are not in the mood for a podcast there is trash taste. They discuss a wide variety of Japanese topics in the form of personal anecdotes.
