A lot of posts get responses from varied people. That's not a one-on-one conversation to me. I don't see what's so desperate about it. Maybe OP tried Discord servers and didn't like what he saw?

I voted "Other". I would still work, mainly to get out of the house and keep myself occupied. I would also contribute and offer support. Nothing is permanent. Today's comfort can easily turn into tomorrow's financial distress.
