    Cuckity cuck cuck

If I ever disappear completely, it's because I've become so heartbroken by the world that I'm living in the woods where no TV or internet signal will find me.

    Looking for friends

I'd love to make a new friend, but I'm not at all likable.

What are you feeling, hoping, thinking, or remembering right now?

I'm getting too old and beaten down to hope for things anymore.

    New guy introduction

I'm really really sorry to hear about your loneliness. Cool name, though!

My mind is active at night. Need to sleep. Suggestions?

I usually have to have plenty of white noise when I'm in bed or my racing thoughts turn to existential dread. Sometimes killing time in a dim room with a repetitive video game like Tetris can lull me to sleep.

Any 30+ to 40 folks here?

I'm 36 and watching an obscure horror movie from the 80's as I type this.

    Nintendo DS

The only 3ds game I play these days is Animal Crossing, because if I stop playing, the weeds win. And I will NOT let the weeds win.

    Do you fear death?

I know my experience is hardly unique, but death stopped being scary a long time ago. Not that I'm a brave man, quite the opposite, in fact. The pain associated with dying scares me a lot. But being dead doesn't seem scary at all. A heart can only handle so much pain and self-loathing before...

    Any writters here?

I like to write, but I am incapable of writing anything that isn't meandering, wordy garbage.

Do lonely people get upset easily?

One of the symptoms of Avoidant Personality Disorder (which is something I have) is the tendency to take casual criticisms personally.

I'm happy with my boyfriend but can't stop looking at my ex's social media

I hope this fascination with your ex diminishes, because happiness is a rare thing that should be cherished. Wasting it on a dead relationship would be tragic.

    Feeling sub-human

MisterLonely's kindness toward wretched creatures like me indicates that he's superhuman rather than subhuman.

What are some unselfish reasons to want a relationship?

I don't think there's anything inordinately selfish about wanting other human beings to validate you. To be appreciated by others of its kind is a function of higher vertebrates. To *need* the validation of others is deleterious to one's happiness, but I don't think it's selfish.

Official "Lonely Life Recent Game Happenings Thread"

I wanted to get into DC Legends, but it seemed way too hard to obtain villain characters. I have a thing for Bat villains, but it seems like the only accessible ones were Joker, Harley Quinn and Bane, with Scarecrow being way too hard to get. I heard they're going to release Penguin too, which...

Do you wish women would approach you first?

I don't think it would make any difference in my case. My socks+sandals combo would ensure that.

Your Favorite Game of All Time?

Doesn't sound dumb at all.  The N64 had the best wrestling games of all-time.  WCW World Tour, WWF WrestleMania 2000 and No Mercy; all were far superior to modern wrestling games, which tend to complicate the basic formula or boil it down to thoughtless simplicity.

What is that one thing that makes you feel truly alive?

    Giant tins of Christmas popcorn.
