I've been thinking about this a lot. Having spent time as the latter, and having recently experienced the former, I have come to the laborious conclusion that yes, it is. What do you think?

One of my Literature professors told me today that I'm "such a great writer" (her words). Then she asked me what my field of study was, and when I told her it was creative writing, she said, very emphatically, "that's wonderful!" Made my day! :D

One semester down in my long-awaited collegiate return, with straight A's to show for it! Only seven more semesters to go!
