    Form Filling Anger

Hi All! I don't know why but filling in forms, either online or not makes me (quite often) angry. Don't know why. If I don't get angry it makes me feel really agitated or cheesed off. Not sure why. I've come to the conclusion it's subconscious or something I developed years ago when I used to...

    Strange Additional Headache Symptom

No I don't wear hats of any kind. This could indicate they're tension headaches I'm getting then ss I wasn't exactly sure. I thought they probably were as I don't have to go lye down in a dark room or anything as you typically do with migraine. I will mention it to my doctor next time I'm there.

I Don't Go Out For Long Periods!

Hi All! I'm getting worried about my avoidant behaviour. I stay in in my flat for long periods. 8-12hrs if not longer sometimes. This time now is 27hrs and I've had no contact with anyone. Just a couple of texts and Facebook. Is it dangerous as I don't feel that well mentally be honest. Thanks!

Lack of Work History Is stopping Me Gaining Employment

Yeah I have had help with it. It looks pretty good I think but maybe room for improvement.

Lack of Work History Is stopping Me Gaining Employment

Yeah but the College and University are obviously on the CV that I hand in or upload. I have gained a NVQ Level 3 Qualification. You mean state this in a covering letter?

Lack of Work History Is stopping Me Gaining Employment

Hi All! I was recently told that the lack of work history on my CV is probably the greatest factor as to why I'm not getting any joy when applying for jobs. I haven't held a job down for longer than 3 months (apart from the one I have now, almost 7 months but is only voluntary). So how do I...

    Job Search Depression

Thanks for your responses. Yeah Hybrid you're right. Sittin' behind a computer screen like a zombie, online form after online form. I was handing cv's out about a year or so ago and the amount of people who say, "We don't except cv's. There's an online application form." Annoying. You've took...

    Job Search Depression

Hi All! Has anyone here heard of job search depression? I swear I have it. It's kind of a self esteem thing too though. It is a thing, I looked it up on the internet. There is job search anxiety too, which I think I've had on occasion as well. Every time I do a job search, I feel depressed...

Being a Unconfident Male Sucks in the Dating World

Because I'm a man with little confidence, and don't know why, have no approachability with women, and it's not shyness, although it might be, but personally don't think it is. It's lack of confidence and/or success that puts doubt in your head so it's a fear of saying the wrong thing or it going...

How to Change a Deep Rooted Belief

The weight thing is rubbish. I've known people my size who were alcoholics when I was in my drug taking days. I used to know one guy about 5'5-5'6 & little/very slim (I'm 5'8), he probably was only somewhere around 115-125lbs at a guess, & he used to drink special brew for breakfast. How much...

How to Change a Deep Rooted Belief

I weight 10 and a half stone. Does that matter? my brother used to drink that on a night when he was 21, and he was 9 stone then. My sister said that to me once, but 4-6 pints is a light night for most people under 40 these days I reckon. Yeah you could order coke here, but a) don't like it...

How to Change a Deep Rooted Belief

As for not drinking on a night out. I know people say you don't have to drink, but for instance, would you want to go to a crack house if you didn't smoke crack? or go to a curry house if you hated curry or it disagreed with you? For the curry house, you'd just feel a bit out of place wouldn't...

How to Change a Deep Rooted Belief

Thanks Batman. Sounds good. Someone did say this happened to someone they knew once, someone who was an alcoholic, as it did with me with the drugs. They said, all of a sudden, out of the blue, they were sick and very ill after every drink all of a sudden, and subsequently had to give it up...

How to Change a Deep Rooted Belief

And one other thing, are you a smoker? If yes, when drinking, one has a tendency to smoke more, and smoking a lot is really helping the hangover and headache (both now and the day after). No I am not a smoker. What, smoking can make your hangover better? As for other kinds of alcohol, I like...

How to Change a Deep Rooted Belief

I will actually divulge what it is. Drinking!! seems to cause headaches, but I'm trying to find out if it's psychological. I want to go out and enjoy myself like everybody else. It's killed my social life. Not saying I wanna get bladdered, I don't, but one beer can give me a right bad headache...
