All the Lonely People

I'm sitting alone at home feeling sorry for myself because the man I love left me for someone else. I have never felt so alone, unwanted and insecure. I am the shy, studious type, and meeting men is difficult for me. Getting close to someone is nearly impossible.

But then I stumbled across this delightful site and find a community of people who are also feeling isolated. I feel less alone just knowing there are others out there like me. I must not be as abnormal as I feared.

If nothing else, it's good for staving off acute feelings of loneliness by having someone to talk to. Of course, like any other internet community, this one isn't without it's faults- but as far as these places go, this isn't all that bad.
