Haha I did go out once in my hometown and wake up in a toilet in Ireland.
(my hometown is near the ferry port in Wales so we used to get the ferry at 2am when the pubs shut, so that we could carry on going through the night)

These days I have a lovely selection of single malts, some rather fab vodka, a couple of my fave rums & other bits n pieces for whenever I feel so inclined.

Lol... Speaking of drunk stories, I remember waking up in my drive way with my car engine running & foot on a break with my car in gear... Apparently, me few buddies of mine went out drinking & he drove me home - he drove my car & one of our friend drove his car... Here, after they dropped me & my car off, I called my buddy & told him I was going out to a corner store & pick up a soda because I was thirsty... I got in my car, started it, put it in reverse then passed out... I never made it out of my drive way...

Same! I haven't got to the point of having nice booze in yet though. Don't trust myself quite yet!

Bloody hell! Good job you passed out before you managed to get out onto the road! haha

During my 16 year relationship(if indeed it could be called that) with 'pothead guy' I could never have any drink sitting in the house(if it was there he would have to drink it til it was finished), it annoyed the hell outta me & I would never buy decent booze.

I'll admit I drank heavily myself in the past, another recovered binge drinker here....I've been very lucky with my liver it's been quite good to me/very forgiving over the years-I've never experienced a hangover.....I almost had one once, after pulling an allnighter that saw me put away....er lets just say a 'lot' of mezcal(that was the night I found out what 'blind drunk' actually meant-thankfully it was temporary, very scary though at the time).
After a coupla hours sleep I woke up feeling not so clever, dragged my sorry ass into the shower, pulled on some clothes & got me a can of Irn Bru & a couple of fried egg rolls from the van at the lorry park & I was right as rain, so we went out drinking that afternoon & everything was groovey......I wouldn't do it now mind.
The last time I was out(about a month ago) drinking with friends I broke someone's arm, it was an accident, we were having a carry on & I bootyblocked one of my friends....she fell badly-I really should know better & I feel bloody terrible about the whole thing! It has made me think again about my alcohol intake.
