Every time I think of you, I'm filled with sorrow,
All those harsh words, made me feel hollow,
My tears would come, you turned away,
Your eyes would never look my way, the room was filled with silence,
Too afraid to say a word, cause I knew more would come.

Each time I went to sleep, my fears hit the pillow,
You said You're sorry, but yet you continued to yell,
Even as I walked away, I could still hear you pleading for me.
You're pleads won't do this time, enough is enough!

It's time to pick up myself, and walk ahead,
For a better future to come,
Twists and turns may come, but I'll be free from you.
No more harsh words. No more insults. No more mind games.
