Are people nicer to you online than in the real world?
I’d say it’s about the same.

I can't give a concrete answer to this question. Obviously, it depends on which people we are talking about and where you found them. I have been on websites and video games where I met some nasty people, but there are also websites where I've met a lot of nice people.

In real life it's the same story, in some places you will meet more nice people, in other places you will meet more jerks. And it will also depend on the individual person, of course.

There are also people who are nastier on the internet, because they will get away with it. If they do so in real life, it would ruin their reputation, or worse.
