Do you see what the rest of them see?
Do you have a different view?
Do you fit in with their masses?
Are you one of many or one of the few?
Does your mind work as you want it to?
Does it move too slow or fast?
Is it on your side, or dies it try to hide
The fact that it will not last
Does your life make that much sense to you?
Have you worked and learned it well?
Will it let you grow, or ever let you go?
Or is it impossible to tell?
Is the world a place of joy and love?
A home worth fighting for?
Or would it chew you up and spit you out
Before sending you off to war?
Do the thoughts at night run through your brain
As you lay down in your bed?
That god may be inside your heart
But the devils in your head?
Do you not see or do they not see?
Which one of us is blind?
They have each other and all you have
Are the musings of a shattered mind
Did you answer yes to my horrid mess
Of words spilled on this post?
Do you understand the constant pain
Of being a living ghost?
