Generic, "New here," post.

I'll try to keep it short, but I always type up a storm.

I'm in high school. USA.

I like programming, 3D graphics, and making music.
Absolute beginner in all 3, but catching on quickly.

I'm here because I don't like being around people in real life. People are usually scary, blurt trivial nonsense, or try to help me worry about things I don't have any feelings about. I also just prefer to see my thoughts before I say them. All around, I find the face to face social scene awkward, annoying, and threatening.

Other online communities I've seen are sick, so I'm giving this one a try.

Hopefully I won't be bothersome, or waste time for either of us.

Two of your three interests also interest me. I think I might understand where you're coming with your peers. I was the same way in high school. It seemed like there was no one who wanted to have an intelligent conversation and everyone's out for themselves.
