Short Poem for the broken hearted

Not sure if it'll help more or anyone going through a similar situation of a breakup but I thought it'd post this poem I wrote. The pacing is a bit off and there are some bits i'm not 100% happy with but i'm tired so sue me lol.

I've never felt a love as pure,
As the one which made my spirit soar.
The happiness which it would bring,
Could make my young heart dance and sing.

Through bad and worse, I didn't mind,
Since to those that say that love is blind,
I can say that that's not true,
It just helps the good parts shine on through.

Feelings this strong cannot just fade,
Though some may wish that they could trade,
The pieces of their broken soul,
For some small way to fill the hole.

I'll never feel a love as pure,
As the one which made my spirit soar.

I understand. I write poems too and I think that is one of the best ways to express myself.
