Am I the only person that adored this movie???
I don't get into modern film and cinema much anymore, but I sat down and watched this and it felt nearly personal. Haven't really had that sort of a reaction to a movie since I saw Pan's Labyrinth when it came out some many years back.

I haven't watched Dracula Untold yet. However, the people that I know who have watched it, loved it.

I had a similar reaction to Pan's Labyrinth. That movie sucked me in for all sorts of feels.

Gary Oldman and Klaus Kinski are my preferred Dracs :).

Dracula Untold had so much potential. I was hoping for a period horror film brimming with grit and gore. What I got instead? A watered-down fantasy adventure with some vampires. It was partly redeemed by some striking art direction/costume design. Hopefully another director/writer will do something more with the Vlad Tepes story. JSYK: Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City) was going to take over directorial duties. I would love to see his take on Dracula/Vlad the Impaler.
