Soothing Sounds

What soothing sounds do you like?

A purring cat, falling rain, rustling of leaves, waves gently breaking - these are some of my favourite soothing sounds.

Definitely thunder and rain, or rain when youre sat in a car.

Ha! I have cats purring in my ear every night, also rainymood is the best thing anyone ever invented.

I listen to a lot of pagan chants, Wiccan and artists like Loreena Mckennitt, Blackmore's Night and Enya to meditate and relax. But I also listen to Metal Folk bands. Depends on my mood. This is one of my favorites..

Definetly thunder here too, and windy nights are awesome, never sleep better then when it's windy!

And definetly NOT my neighbor and his gf doing justin bieber karaoke at 3 A.M.

Rain, rain, rain. On the ground, on the roof, wherever.

Thunder is a nice bonus, though not common where I live.

Tibetan meditation bowls/bells.

I actually downloaded a whole album of "music" that is nothing but hours of nature sounds ... forest, rain, ocean, insects, campfire, etc. By Dr. Sound Effects (on Amazon).
