What is the general rule for posting on other threads?
1. Do you just jump in and join in the conversation
2. Do you introduce yourself and then give your point of view
3. Or do you wait till someone invites you onto a thread?
Just being new I am not sure of the way to join in.
Thank you.

Just jump in, pal. It's totally casual, and everyone's invited.

How much you say about yourself is entirely up to you.

It's not that different from most forums. You can talk as little or as often as you want. If you're looking for friends, you can try posting about yourself or peruse threads in the Networking section.

No invitations are necessary. You can read and post if it interests you, but you don't have to introduce yourself. Some people like to and that's fine. It's also polite the read the text and not just the topic title to make sure you understand what's being said.
