What effective habits do you know?

Mine is:
Recall 5 positive things that you did today. No matter how small they are.

I read that it is good for you from an NLP book.

It makes me feel better, I dont know, what it is supposed to do ,however xD

I have a few that have really worked for me.

1) Positive affirmations. I would repeat things to myself over and over, either aloud or in my head, until my mind recognized them as truths.

2) Finding the positive side to every negative thought or occurrence. In the beginning I would counter each negative thought with "but at least...", until the positive counter-thought became a reflex.

You must have a really easy life if those work for you ;0

They didn't work instantly. These are methods I applied over a period of several years. Changing your perspective can actually go a long way to putting everything else on track.

I am reading this book.
"Habits of a Happy Brain"
I can mail the book to anyone who wants to.
That book is serious psychology. A very very good book, Xelha.
