It’s been so long that I doubt our reality. So long I’ve buried emotions which plagued me that I’ve numbed them to occasional unpleasant heartache. It’s an artifact of a previous life.
Then Pandora puts on Blurry. It’s become rarer now that the music of our time is starting to feel like golden oldies. But there it is, and it invokes the response no matter how lost or focused I am in my thoughts. It’s the most real emotion I feel anymore. You must be real. I miss you. I still love you.
