There are a couple of you I really like.  I like Americans.  Kiwis are cool.  Brits rock  too.  But you *******....

Let me be a little serious here.

This is an English speaking board. I have made friends here from all over the Anglosphere. Some lovely Australians, New Zealanders, Americans, British folk.

But when I was at rock bottom, I got PMs. Always from Canadians. I do not know why this is.

I dunno, I think it's values. Can only speak for myself, but I was raised believing you're there for others, specially when the going gets tough. You might not talk to a friend for 10 years, but if you call him and something is wrong he's there 10 minutes latter no questions asked.
I know my reasons are purely selfish. I don't want to drink by myself if I visit Aussie land someday ;-)
