*~~~be a cuck, it's the new trend~~~*

OK, anyways, the past few days I was checking what was on TV and I came across this game reality show for couples, where the host tries to educate men on women's sexuality. But not in a "here's where the clitoris is" way, more in a "your wife should still be free to have sex with whoever she wants" way...
(yes, I'm very surprised this was on, but it's cable...)
Here's the thing, these are men who got married basically agreeing to be in a monogamous relationship forever, and their wives are making them go on a show to show to the world that they wanna fresia other guys! And that's literally the plot of the show, that's why the host brings out buffed dudes to start touching and making out with their wives in front of them while the host interviews what are their feelings about it.

This just makes me think, and I know I'm going to get frustrated comments about the next phrase, on how entitled women have come to be lately.
I'm really not a feminist and everyone here knows that I'm passionate about these topics, but I think we can all agree that this is deeply disturbing. It's not as if those guys wanted to watch their wives in that situation, it's not their shared fetish, it's just selfish slutiness.

I've also seen articles related to all of this and from those the immediate two that pop in mind are from feminist women who believes that guys who are into being cucks have higher IQs because they're thinking about the sexual liberation of their women. Also, one from a person who describe how excruciating (she used that word) it is for a good looking person to be faithful.

The whole thing is literally about being thoroughly humiliated, being forced to pretend that you understand how that's ever good for you and watch you selfish wife not care for a moment about how this makes you feel. After all, if you can't support your wife acting like a whore, you're a mysogynistic bigot.

What y'all think?!

...I think the world's an idiotic place full of moronic people.
Like I told of of my past girlfriends who suggested that notion to me once several years ago, the door is RIGHT over there. Take it. That's your ticket to screwing other guys.
Only thing I do understand is the network. Considering the screwed up subject, it's bound to get ratings. Trash tv type stuff and so forth. Kind of like that Japanese incest show that's going on in Tokyo a friend of mine was telling me about.

I would consider it, if and only if, I was married and was suddenly unable, because of injury or illness, to sexually satisfy my wife. But I believe in the term to love and to obey, that it goes both ways and if you can't deal with that simple fact, divorce.
I don't know that it speaks specifically to the entitlement of women. Or rather, I'm not surprised; anyone in life that can get away with something bad without consequences usually will and try to justify it, one way or another. If I cheat on my spouse, I cheat on my spouse, there's no "positive way" to say it. They're managing to get away with it being "freedom".

"Sure, whatever lol. Just don't count on me to screw you, lady, because you're all manner of ugly".
What I do wonder is how a show like that air without criticism. If the reverse had been made, a show about men convincing their wives cheating is sexual liberation, how long would it take for Feminist groups to shoot at the network and get the show cancelled?
"into being cucks have higher IQs" LOL. Utter poppycock. That's assuming I.Q. is an accurate measurement of intelligence, that's not so fixed a point as it was when measurements started.

It if is excruciating for them to be faithful then they should try entering a relationship that doesn't require it in the first place.

I'd like to see what would happen if for an episode they paid for the men to have a few extra options as well. I wonder if women that are ok with their husbands screwing whoever they want have higher IQs as well.

I've been looking for it and I can't find it, but I'll try harder soon. I know it's a brazilian show though, so I doubt you'd be able to check it out. I remember reading the name of the host but can't really find it now. Sorry.

BTW, you say that it doesn't say anything about the entitlement of women but you still believe that if the genders were swapped this would never be on the air, that has to say something... Though I agree with you that anyone who can get away with something have the potential to do it regardless of anyone else's feelings about it - - but that also says something about our culture and how one gender has been given incredible opportunities to take advantage using that method. Either by law or just social situations.

Unless you're completely blown up and become a paper weight, or is in a coma forever (to which you wouldn't even know about the moving on on the wife's part), an illness or injury that makes you unable to get hard doesn't mean that you cant have a healthy sex life and appetite. Just means that things would have to be adjusted and that if your wife is truly happy with what she has, she'll still love you and want to be with you.
Plus, being a cuck in that case is not only knowing that your wife is involved with others sexually, it's seeing it and even being humiliated by it while trying to find something good in it to justify why you're going through that honeysuckle.

I think it's more about men agreeing to be "manginas", and allowing a woman to manipulate them when it comes to sex and relationships.
Guys who allow themselves to be that way have no balls.
Dropkick the woman to the curb if she wants to, or demands to mess around with other guys.
Unless agreed upon from the start to have an 'open' relationship, this sort of behavior showm by some women wanting to screw other guys while keeping a husband, committed guy, etc, by their side reeks of the modern day disposable, 'take, but don't give' society we've become.
A pre-nup before tying the knot is mandatory, in my view, a safeguard should this sort of behavior occur.

Are you sure it wasn't just softcore porn?
I don't think it's entitlement, it's because some people are trash. To humiliate another person on TV because you want attention and to screw other people, yeah that's a garbage heap of a human being. Btw they have had shows where both men and women did something similar. Jerry Springer comes to mind, but pretty much any ratings desperate talk show would work. Now they pretend that they are actually trying to fix something by going on doctor Phil. It's got nothing to do with entitlement, it's ratings.

Oh, I could not agree more there. I've been complaining about the state of modern relationships like a 90yo catholic woman... Even the interactions today are so paper thin, and then you have all of this sexual openness which is good in parts but already went way too far, imo.

Ha. No, it was not. And it was not one of those Jerry Springer "let's see if your wife will cheat" shows. It was a reality game show and the synopsis was literally "(Host) will educate husbands about female's sexuality and show that women deserve to be free from the sexual restraints of traditional marriage".
Yes, sure it's about ratings for the channel, but it's not about ratings for the women...

Ah well, that last part I won't comment on, because I don't get it, I think it's revolting lol. Sorry to men who are cucks, but if that turns you on, I don't understand you, sorry.

As for entitlement of women....this is a LONG subject we could talk about for two hours lol, preferably in front of a drink. I'll try not to write ten paragraphs 15 pages long lol.
As we are learning more about the brain, some new studies are coming up that are pointing to one thing, that no one really has accepted yet and that, as you say, has deeply become embedded in our society and culture; differences between men and women. However, like I said, new studies are coming up that are going to dramatically change that view. You know what the difference is between you and me? ABSOLUTELY NONE. :D
Oh, of course, hormonal, biological differences aplenty, that affect your reactions or short term decisions, kind of like testosterone with me, but what FUNDAMENTALLY differentiates your brain from mine? Nothing. We have a lot more in common, me manbrain and you womanbrain, than we have difference. We differentiate only in how we were both raised and what we accepted or didn't accept, in growing up, in school, in what friends told us, in what other men and women told us, but our capacities are the same. So if I was taught that girls are weaklings that always wear a dress and cook, you have the potential to learn the same thing and believe it, just like we can believe the exact opposite. It's actually been somewhat of a (naturally unpopular among feminist groups lol) criticsm of "women's revolution", now that several decades have ellapsed and women are elevating themselves into positions of power. It was expected they would bring a new way of doing business and running things, but as it stands, women and men behave absolutely the same in the workplace, this according to, among other things, this study by Harvard. So articles are read where they vaunt the presence of women, or companies that send out releases saying how they're happy to favor women over men, are only pandering to the politics of the time, instead of actual leadership who values true competence without prejudism (hiring a man over a woman is as bad as hiring a woman over a man with all things equal)
https://hbr.org/2017/10/a-study-use...men-and-women-are-treated-differently-at-work
(Of course, this is ALWAYS changing as the field of neurosciences becomes broader, but so far no significant differences between the two have been found in the accomplisment of either professional or personal task. Some minor biological differences exist, but so far they do not correlate with widely varying brain usage. Mind you I'm not a neurologist, but so far as I can follow the field the answer is still "we think but we don't know. But we think the same, more or less".

So, by that posit, if we're basically the same, why do women, or men depending on the case, feel entitled? It's because they were either bred, convinced, told, educated or decided to act as such. It's a matter of choice, of decision. As such, to say "the entitlement of women" is not accurate, because "women" or "men" as definitions are fundamentally flawed precepts. Much as, I read in another thread, the debate exist on the definition of Alpha Males, Beta Males and etc, I posit that the exact same thing exists among women (which you probably will not see in any kind of study for, oh, at least 50 years until it becomes okay to criticize "women" again in a realistic way, once the passions unleashed with things like #metoo, which is a good movement but also has a huge share of "if you criticze it in ANY way, you're a sexist), meaning Alpha women, Beta women and etc. As such, two possibilities come to mind; the show you're refering to is composed of what I'd call Alpha women, which basically imitate the exact same behavior as Alpha males, with all the positives, BUT also negative conotations that implies; entitlement, arrogance, vanity, etc. Much in the same way men are (or were) reproached of acting.
It's a bit why I criticize modern Feminist movements, while still considering myself a Feminist; many have perverted it's nature into trying to render acceptable the very behaviors that men were criticized for having for centuries, "but it's okay if you're a woman".
Then you have other women, so dubbed "Beta" women, who are more what we posit as the traditional female, who probably have as much hate for those Alpha women as they do with Alpha males, much like their "Beta male" counterparts (Note that I hate vulgarizing in those terms which I feel are pejorative, but I in fact remain convinced that the "Betas" are the more advanced form of humanity. They've evolved beyond primal instinct into more refined and defined human beings, GENERALLY, because there are as any things, exceptions)

Okay, so much for me not disserting lol. Anyway, all that to say that I do not believe it's saying anything about entitlement of WOMEN, as much as it's saying something about the entitlement of THOSE women, on that show and those like them outside of it. A small, but I believe to be very key distinction. As long as we keep examining people as groups instead of on an individual level, inequalities will continue to exist. Behaviors of the like should have been declining in lieu of the rise of Feminism in the 50's and 60's, yet I feel as though it's been regressing since the late 90's, time at which while asserting more important roles in society, Alpha women have been emulating the exact same behaviors as the men they criticized.

Which brings me back to my original phrase; if someone can pass something bad as good and get away with it, they WILL. No matter sex, age, race, groups, political affiliations or anything else. Before our sexes, before anything, we're human; greed and egoticism are traits we all possess. Some seek to be rid of those, others thrive on it; as long as we allow some groups to thrive on it, we'll always have those inequalities. Only difference is it'll switch groups. Much as the Romans once played at burning Christians in the 1st century, so too has the Church played at burning pagans and witches (mostly innocent women) in the 14th century. Power shifts, the basics stay the same. Now some women have it in their heads to rule the world, governements allow inequalities because of votes and monetary decisions; eventually, the balance will swing the other way. Feminist movements will eventually flounder when people and science realize we're only different in our biological makeup, not our grey matter.
Equality, not equity, right? ;-)
Anyways, that's what I see, it's opinion only based on observation. **** if I know I'm just crazy or something. Maybe I just drink too much coffee. But I remain firmly convinced of those beliefs. Which is how I can still consider myself a Feminist, WHILE being against Feminism. Because Inequality varies by name....
It might also be incredibly naive of me lol. F*ck it. If shoe fits...

There's also the third possibility; none of it's real and it's all rehearsed. That's popular in reality tv. Might be all scripted horsecrap.
As for the limpy dick thing, lol, I guess. If you don't mind, I'll cross that bridge when I (hopefully never) get to it ;-)

NDLR; You know what's funny? In real life I'd have said about nine words and thought all that, that's including "people are messed up and Feminism is perverse". Guess it's easier to take your time and write it out than talking. I'd usually get bored by sentence three and figure I didn't care enough about some stupid tv show lol. But that sums up my view of the matter.

I don't think this is representative any more than Jerry Springer is. It's quite possibly even fake. It sounds like it's designed to generate attention, even if that attention is negative. You're still watching it and spreading the word, aren't you? More than can be said for some pretty decent Netflix shows I've watched.

If couples really do need to have the "open relationship" talk, then yes that's not the world's business, but that's far beyond the scope of TV when people are going to be selfish in a relationship.

Everything on TV is designed to generate attention.
I have to get some time to reply properly and to find every article and the show's name to post here but since three people have commented on this...

What's the demographic that buys into these shows?

Good question.
I imagine that would depend on day and time it plays, who's sitting in front of their couch at that particular moment. I WOULD assume lonely bored housewife, but it's terrible conjecture without solid facts.
I'm thinking it would also depend on culture and desired effect (so nature of the tv station). You mentionned it was in Bresil, aren't they generally a very religious country? (Rio has that big Jesus statue I think, maybe the show is designed to shock average married couples who are very religious).

If that's true, i will eat my monitor and give you my life savings.

It's degenerate but sadly not surprising.

LOL YAY! I'M RICH!
Wait...how much life savings you got?

Wouldn't surprise me at all either. Consider the amount of ghost shows on different media catering to the supernatural crowd. Current scientifical concensus isn't even a debate; ghosts are not real lol.
Whaever makes money, man.

I mean the show's existence is not surprising. And i don't think it's to cater to religious people. Just a degenerate culture shift.

To answer the original question, i guess that it is entitlement of them, i just tend to focus on the men's part. I agree with ABrokenMan, they have no balls.

It's not right, I don't think it's what they really believe either, I would think it is mostly about ratings. as everything reality is... but reality tv goes one step beyond actual reality, it has to make everything hyper reality in order to e entertaining, after all why watch normal life right?

For instance there is a show here where a candidate is matched with an unknown and they are dropped on an island naked together to get to know each other, I at first thought this to e a very entertaining idea, because there would be no pretends possible. but being reality tv there had to be a twist, a "game" element, so after the first day the couple would be surprised by a new naked person showing up, most often someone from the candidates past, or someone else to confuse the matter.

Why do that, if you are interested in setting up someone with another human being in any way, why make a ******* game out of it?! ... ratings is why.

As for the topic, yeah it's not right, if someone is a cuck then by all means be a cuck and watch your partner get messed by whomever. I don't care, if that is what you want as a couple go for it. But educating women or men that it is wrong to expect monogamy from a relationship that has thus far always ment to be a monogamous relationship to you is just wrong... I won't make this about men vs women sexuality, perceived or otherwise, but keep it at that.

If I ever disappear completely, it's because I've become so heartbroken by the world that I'm living in the woods where no TV or internet signal will find me.

I've never seen the show of course, but I've heard this before. There was an article on Jezebel (written by a "willing" cuck) arguing men who want their spouses to remain faithful in mutually agreed upon monogamous relationship are misogynists attempting to "control women's sexuality". Whether the show's fake or not there are people out there who believe it. Another article on Jezebel a few years back argued men who weren't into pegging were also misogynists.

Which always brings me back to my original posit, one I heard doctor House mention more than once...

People are idiots.

LOL. Just because setting yourself on fire will make you warm doesn't mean it's a good idea to actually try it, and all that.
But hey, you know, I'm all for personal liberty. People are free to do whatever they want as long as they don't do it in my backyard, 'cause I'll shoot 'em.
Ahhhh....look at me going all controlling mysoginist, I really must be a primate. :D
