I'm new here. The reason I use a large and bold font is 'cos I'm blind and it's easier for me to communicate.
My name is Michael (or Mick, or Mike). I'm 60 yrs old and separated from my wife of 12yrs marriage. She suddenly decided that she didn't want to be a carer, so she went off and left me to cope. I later discovered that she had another man!
It isn't easy, but loneliness is the worst thing.
I own my own house, which I had before I met my ex, so at least I'm not homeless. My hobbies are writing (poetry, short stories and my first book). I also like listening to my 7 thousand+ CD collection! I have 2 cats, mum and daughter (Ruby and Pebbles). I'd love to be find someone to email and chat on the phone. Because I'm missing female input into my life and I have a few male friends already, I'd prefer meeting a lady of any age (but no under-16's please). Please don't feel shy about contacting me...I don't bite
