I'm a bit poor at the moment because work is always slack in January. I knew one guy years ago that was working with me had it so bad he lived off Mars bars and milk so when he asked if he could borrow a quid to eat that day I gave him a fiver..should have seen his face it was priceless but i thought what a crazy world when even working people can't afford to eat.

I have to eat though so I've resorted to my usual baked potatoes ,fried onions, peppers with half a can of baked beans and a sprinkling of cheddar topped with some Laoganma(black beans in chilli sauce) .

Any good recipes for meals around a quid for people running out of ideas who have to eat well to keep their spirits up?
