Just say no to her crap

Could be the best thing that ever happened to you my man.

I got sick of my job, sick of my wife

Sick of my future and sick of my life

I packed up my car and I got some gas

And told ev'rybody they could kiss my ass

I'm not sure what kind of conversation you are hoping to get from this post.

Is a conversation necessary?

Either the truth is seen and the advice taken, or it isn't.

if you don't spark a conversation with your posts, perhaps you should use the diary section?

Well, clearly this post has "sparked a conversation". Satisfied?

Thanks, by the way, for the unsolicited advice.  I'm quite content
with response to my posts so far.

Have a nice day.

there really is no need to be quite so combative in your responses.

Has it occurred to you that your first response in this thread was "combative"?

Is there a "need"?  What exactly is it that make you believe that you are
entitled to tell me what is and is not needed?

If you wish to debate the OP point, by all means, have at it.

I think running away from your problems is only going to work if you can miraculously become a new person in the process.
If you keep making the same sort of decisions your "fresh start" is likely to sour quickly.

Also, I think it's interesting that this person was irritated with his job, his wife, his future, and his life... and decided it was EVERYONE ELSE's fault and took off. The world would be a better place if more people took responsibility for their own actions and choices.
Song lyrics don't always make for decent real world advice.

The song is about alcohol and/or drugs and sex....
