We Saved A Dog Today

I didn't really do that much.  I just gave him water.
Someone came by today and told us their friends dog was missing.
He gave us the phone number and asked us to look for him.

My mom had an appointment and went with her friend.
I walked outside and looked around the house and down the road to see if I could see him but I couldn't.


After my mom's friend left, she found the dog next to a deer carcass.
She called and brought the dog to our house.
Mom called the guy and he came over to get him.
I gave him some water and held it up so he could drink from it.

He looked emaciated.  The guy said he had been missing for 3 days.
I'm just glad the dog was found.
I never hear stories of missing pets where the pet is returned home.
I felt good and I hope the dog recovers.
