Adoption of First Nation Children by Outsiders
Should heritage come first when it comes to adoption of Indigenous kids? There are many people who stress heritage but there are others who would simply take the child out of an unsafe situation without even thinking of culture. Is it better to be taken away and be safer but forget your culture; or is it better to put culture as the priority.

What would your opinion be?
We could be heroes, me and you...
I think they should have both. A safe, loving family AND their culture. A child shouldn't be made to forget what their culture is, they should have a mixture of culture.
After all, they are getting a new family and unless you are speaking of babies, it's harder for older kids to get families, so yeah, a family.

But really, is it really any different if they are Indigenous or if they are a different race/culture than the adoptive parent of the same country?
