Don't feel discoraged, please.
If you had a pet, a rabbit or a cat, you por would enjoy how those friends might need you to live. However, cats are more detached and cold than rabbits.
Human beings were made to be independent, as selfish as WE are, each time we wanted to be self-centered.

'Diagnosed' makes a good point.
And it's probably a lot better to be hooked up with someone who actually wants you,
rather than someone who needs you for whatever reason. Dependency is a pretty
selfish motivation.
