Hi all. I joined this forum because I'm feeling incredibly isolated at the moment. I'm a carer and I moved to a new city a few years ago. Not long after moving my son became extremely ill, so my life was totally absorbed with him 24/7 for the next few years. Just as I was starting to socialise and meet new people the Pandemic struck. My son and I have pretty much been on our own since then and well I think it's starting to take it toll....So I thought I'd give this forum a try. Anyhow thanks for reading. Stay safe and well 😊

We are many ears here to listen,
A beating heart in the twilight, glistens.
Like the stars of a night sky so true.
We on this forum, welcome you.

Hi Callie. Thankyou. I will. 😊

I sincerely hope what I wrote helps.

You're not alone -- and I hope your son is back to normal, enjoying each and every day.

Christopher.

Welcome to the forum, Leonne.

In these times, as you already know, connecting with others has never been more difficult. A time to keep in mind that the division of humanity is the goal and that being here for others and being apart of something, a community, is quite important (IMO)

I've never been apart of anything and then I came here and felt like I had a community of folks I could reach out to as an audience, an ear, or a laugh.. always.
Anytime you want or need to chat, I'll be around!
Merry hearts day <3

That was very insightful, supportive and nice.

Though not written to me I still appreciate reading comments like these.

Leonne, thanks for bringing my attention to something.  Although I'm always drawn to AmyTheTemperamental's dynamic postscript, I've always been too mesmerized by the pretty girl to notice the great scripture.

Now to you, I can't offer much relief from your situation, but I will give you a nice short distraction with this Christian bluegrass song. See if you like it.

Welcome! These are bizarre times indeed. I've been working from home for almost an entire year now. One of my main physical social outlets was going into the office and seeing real people, so I don't have that. I do experience a bunch of virtual people nearly everyday. But yes, I think it does take it's toll, especially since we still really have no idea when it will end.

Thankyou Ewomack. Yes that exactly...
