Having goals is what helps me make it through one day to the next. The craving to change the state of my (lonely) life, and experience happiness one day...

This year (2009):
-Join more volunteering groups and try to make a friend
-Get my **** license already!!@@@
( Ya'll make sure to stay indoors AT ALL TIMES when I'm driving. Trust me, it's for your own good haha. )

Next year (2010):
-Try to make a **** friend if I haven't already x_x
(Why must humans be so complicated???)
-Rent out part of my house to save up for college
-Find the right plastic surgeon, have surgery mid-to-late part of the year

Year after (2011):
-If I still haven't made a friend...umm...yeah...
-Uhh...hopefully my surgery will have been successful so I can go to college
-More to come...:p

BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ME!!!
What are YOUR goals???

The rest of the year:
-Plow and shovel snow like a ************.
-Finish my college courses and take more for the winter

2010:
-Bump up to EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic
-Get a girlfriend, goddammit
-Learn to weld
-Buy guns

2011:
-Prepare for 2012
-Dig war bunker hundreds of feet in to the ground
-Stock up on MREs and canned food and seeds, build little greenhouses and planter boxes
-Buy more guns, ammo
-Fortify my car as a vehicle of war
-Build homemade explosives and molotov cocktails
-Stock up on more silver for use as a post-apocalypse trade currency

2012:
-Nothing happens
-Obama gets second term
-Cry
-Lock self in war bunker, end it all by detonating my supply of bullets and explosives

In the very short-term: successfully complete NaNoWriMo and 50k words for November; participate in local NaNoWriMo events and actually engage with other people even though the prospect of it is making me nauseated and nervous.

Get my damned Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving.

Finish the illustrations for the children's book by next April.

Win the damned lottery.

NOT get cancer.

Bake another apple pie (perhaps by this weekend).

I like Brian's.

My goal is to work on enough film sets this year to be able to go back to university and afford a final year of education.

(* Purely optional)

2009:
- Get a job. (Very good chance this may be happening soon)
- Lose a few pounds. (Working on it)
- Start AND finish NaNoWrimo this year.
- Save! Save! Save!
- *Make a few friends.

2010:
- Pay off ridiculous student loan off.
- Buy a car.
- *Maybe actually try to pursue the opposite sex.
- Save some more.
- FINALLY finish school.
- Save some more.
- Possibly move out.

I think i stopped thinking about goals and my future. i used to have plenty of them though. The first one was get the hell out this country and live in a big city. But then I realised that it probably wouldn't make me happy so umm.. i quit lol.
Let's say that i hope to finish that college year cos if i dont i could aswell die right now cos the world is so boring. :)

Friends are huge goal
A partner is a lust
Music is a passion
But education is forever

Learn to weld. Learn to draw. Learn how to rebuild my chev 350. Learn to dance. Learn the guitar. Learn tarot cards. Learn palm reading. So many more but these are my next two years endeavors.

oh right now, i'd like to finish readin Bram Stoker's Dracula

Short-term:
-get through the next two months of having a really frustrating job
-do well in my courses
-improve an overly self-critical attitude to one more accepting and positive one, esp. regarding social ability
-make friends!

Long-term:
-decide on what career i'd like to pursue
-find a mate
-make serious bank
-hopefully help people in the process of making gobs of money
-be happy

Dude, I hope you're joking about detonating the explosives cuz that post was golden and you're far too funny to not be around! =)

2009:

1. sexy up
I developed a nice workout habit this year that I let go of for about 3 weeks leading up to tonight. But tonight I got back on track. Must stay focused, and not allow depression/misery/weather/whatever deter me!

2. remain calm at work and consider other ways to make money
I'm sick of and grateful for my job at the same time.

3. have my teeth worked on
I'd rather spend my low funds on something fun, but I must do this.

4. stick to monthly savings deposit plan

5. continue enjoying my hobbies

6. remain patient about finding happiness, remain hopeful

2010:

1. all but 3 of 2009

2. get some new furniture

3. leave the state when I take a vacation, and do something out of my comfort zone while at it (nothing dangerous)

I guess going back to school is becoming more and more out of the question.

Id like to get a resturant in Greece with a funny-as guy named Steve... I just happen to hate cooking so lets say; get the right education, and get puplished.
