I am definitely in favor of thank you notes! With so many Portals to me, there are no excuses. What say you? Should we stop sending gifts if we don't receive a thank you?
 
I am of the mind that if you give a gift, you shouldn't expect anything back. That defeats the altruism aspect of it. If they're thankful they'll just tell ya.
