It's a complimentary icecream and she probably didn't even see you. You acted like a giant infant. A male Karen. If I were the manager I would have refunded the price of the ticket then permanently barred you from entering the premises again.

You are a troll. There's no other explanation. This can't be real.

That's what I'm thinking too. I've seen enough of the guy's posts to know that he's smart enough to know how most people are going to respond to this. I don't know what he thinks he's going to accomplish by making these posts. Almost no one, on this site or anywhere else, thinks that his behavior in these stories is "cool" or "badass". And to the people that actually witness it, the behavior just looks like immaturity, or mental illness. But for all we know, these stories never even happened at all, and it's all just trolling for a reaction.

I've found being aggressively assertive works well for me at times.
I think it's compensating for points when I was a youth. Back then I didn't really stand for my ground that well, and now it's about doing what I can or shold have done.

There are couple of instances lately where I have done this. the first was when I was seeing the new James Bond film. The worker there was giving out free ice creams for everybody who bought a ticket, and was moving down the queue before the film started. She missed me out, but didn't ignore the people immediately in front and behind me. I just let her have it and I shouted at her, and I didn't care how it looked. She looked at me really shocked, but i didn't care. she was deliberately trying to embarrass me when I didn't do anything wrong at all. I was a paying customer, and she deserved everything she got. I dont' care if it was unkind - was it? being "unkind" is arbitrarily denying somebody a service somebody is legally entitled to. If a person orders food in a restaurant, and they don't get the order, this is unethical. It's just basic business ethics and legality.

I feel better doing this, since it means I stand up for myself better.
What happened after you shouted? How did the other people in the queue react, did you just all file into the cinema after the incident?Did the worker respond in anyway after the shock,I may have missed something here.I know being missed out can hurt I related a story a long time back about a guy going round my office asking everyone except me if they wanted to meet for pizza.I don't know the reason why maybe he just didn't know me well enough, who knows but wish I asked at the time..er excuse me ,what about me,obviously not shouting.Do you think deep down on reflection you could have handled it better?

On reflection I don’t think I did anything wrong.

I wonder if later down the road you'll regret overreacting to such minor inconveniences and end up being "aggressively passive" as a result... to make up for it.

You do understand the concept of picking your battles, right? You don't have to start with shouting. A simple "Hey, you missed me." would have worked fine... if the ice cream was really so crucial for your enjoyment of the movie.

But I agree with Ardour and Ska, you aren't this stupid. You seem to understand people well enough in other posts... which points to you trolling with this "No one matters but me" bullshit. But maybe that's just what my church told me :p

it's immaterial. she took me for some fool, and she got what was coming to her. i'm a human, and i have th3e same basic rights and space as others. so if anybody crosses that, they get what's coming to them.

I thought we did... But I've no idea what planet you're from.

(Wasting my breath as you're a troll, but whatevs I'm bored anyway)

I didn't say what I said because I was offended, I'm not. You didn't yell at me. But thanks for assuming again.

You're saying you're taking up a normal position, but you yelled at someone just doing their job for not seeing you right away... They prob didn't expect a grown ass man to flip out over ice cream. If you were handing out the tickets and accidentally missed someone and they screamed at you... Would that be ok? Would you think..." Oh yeah I guess I deserved that." Or would you think it was an unfair reaction because it was an accident, and maybe they shouldn't have flipped out over it right off the bat.

You don't have to answer I know by now you'll lie and say it's reasonable.

Sometimes I want to slap everyone I see... I don't, because of consequences. If this isn't all bullshit, I have no doubt yours will catch up with you. One day You'll go off on the wrong person.

a random co-worker doesn't owe you his personal space. a person buying something, unless they are groudns not to get it,

you think like Hitler based on your spiritual teachings. We’re all equal and I know that offends you. It’s why you’re responding here. I don’t see why it matters what you’re offended by. If do my job like a normal person and do it professionally and not try to “humiliate” HUNSN BEINGS who had as much a right to there as anybody else.

I’m also no troll. I’m merely expressing myself. Stop dictating and assuming your perspectives matter more.

Here's a mirror, since you're such a hypocrite.
