Yes, I'm aware there's more to the genre than just one band, but they were one of the first bands that got me into it, and I've seen them twice, and these were the songs that I thought of, off the top of my head, that I considered essential, especially for those who don't know the band yet.

What about The New York Dolls then?, Punk, Hair Metal, Glam Rock they influenced the bloody lot!. Johnny Thunders is still the coolest guitarist ever despite being honeysuckle at playing guitar.
