Im fasting mainly for two reasons: to save money and to lose weight.

what i eat for breakfast is literally bread or pandesal with butter and a sip of black coffee. for lunch at the mall i no longer buy one choice or two choice, for example, instead of getting chicken cutlet with rice and a side of macaroni i just get the chicken cutlet itself. it's way more cheaper than to get a whole meal. i also stop drinking soda just fruit juice and water.
for dinner i felt like i deserved one ice cream with a cone.

on an unrelated note im also giving NoFap a chance and see if i can get benefits of semen retention. i deleted all my porn on my macbook.

also ive been exercising mainly focusing on calisthenics and breakdancing. and sometimes to pass the time i practice freestyle rapping but im terrible at it rn but ill keep trying no matter how horrible i sound. ayy no one is listening anyay.

Okay, that's not fasting, that's just being unhealthy. If you're going to fast, at least do it properly. And if you want to lose weight and get healthier, I suggest you start using a healthy diet, not just carbs and junk.

Also, if you are exercising a good bit and eating only that, you are on the verge of anorexia....I wouldn't suggest that. It will fuck you up more than it helps you.

Fasting as a way to loose weight isn't a good plan. When you do that your body switches over to store everything when something comes in. So, when you stop fasting you'll gain more weight. Just eat three small healthy meals a day. Vegetables are cheap and healthy. Eat those.

Vegetables are cheap.

Actually, produce is one of the things that inflation has impacted the most. It's not really so cheap anymore.

But yeah, I agree with everything else you said. Maybe you could grow your own veggies? Even if you don't have a yard big enough, you could get some window planters or something.

NoFap is a load of nonsense... the only thing that will come of it is frustration for yourself.

I do fast a day if I gain more than four pounds. For me, a day's fast helps me kick-start a diet. You might not want to take my advice because, in my younger years, I was anorexic.

I agree! No harm in trying it out. The first time after a break is always good. So, you will have that to look forward too. ;)

Also I guess you can say that I fast every day. I never eat anything between 4pm and about 6am. My 4pm meal is very small too. I've read many places that it's a good idea to allow your digestive system to completely empty every day. But, as far as fasting all day, no way. I need my food.

it's come to a point where porn doesn't satisfy me anymore. I dont want to stare at women while i bust a nut. I want physical contact so even if im doing NoFap im still open to going to strip clubs to get a lapdance. And i dont even have to bust a nut so technically i can still do NoFap while going to a strip club 😂😂😂😂.

Actually veggies aren't really that healthy, not compared to animal foods. Veg contain many anti nutrients, which block absorption of minerals in the body and they do not contain many bioavailable nutrients by themselves. There are around 15 nutrients you cannot get from plant foods...Vit A (Retinol), B12, D3, Omega 3, K2, Heme Iron....to name but a few.

Very little of what you say here is accurate. As for you article you linked, the newest source is from 2005, which the majority of the sources well older than that. And the site isn't exactly all that trustworthy. Not to mention the guy who that article was based from died is 1948 and had a lot of controversy with his ideas.
I'll stick with being a vegan, thanks, and my doctor is completely okay with that and I get all the vitamins I need.

Sweet, sweet, U S of A.
On another note, why do people think of self-improvement in such small terms?

What's the point in being super healthy in a profoundly diseased world, ruled by intractable corruption, greed, and selfishness?

One can barely even be sure a good deed was truly good, these days.

When I was a healthier eater, carrots, actually tasted delicious; every meager meal was a feast. So, perhaps go to it all, if you enjoy doing so. A healthier mind probably follows a healthier body, and vice versa. However...

Most of what counts for, 'self-improvement,' these days, though, I'm inclined to believe is only contributing more to the current misery of the world, or if not, is at least motivated directly from it, to feed back into it...

Your opinion, which you are entitled to, but the article is not false. Plants do contain many anti-nutrients as part of their 'protection against being eaten' processes and this is the reason why our ancestors used to ferment and sprout plant foods, to make them easier to digest and have less anti nutrients.

'Antinutrients are found in their highest concentrations in grains, beans, legumes and nuts, but can also be found in leaves, roots and fruits of certain varieties of plants. The major antinutrients found in plant-based foods are phytates, tannins, lectins, oxalates, etc. Antinutrients in vegetables, whole grains, legumes and nuts are a concern only when a person’s diet is composed exclusively of uncooked plant foods. Oxalate, for instance, prevents calcium from being absorbed in the body by binding with it [13]. Raw spinach, kale, broccoli and soybeans usually contain oxalates [14]. When consuming excessive tannins, which are associated with tea, wine, some fruit, and chocolate, enzymes responsible for protein absorption may be inactivated. Phytates are present in grains, nuts and seeds, while peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes contain lectins. Phytates consumption may lead a lower mineral absorption and lectins are able to cause various reactions to the body [15]. Saponins, on the other hand, have been linked to red blood cells damaging, enzyme inhibition and thyroid function intervention [16]'....

'Vegan diets are often praised for their health benefits. However, there are many nutrients that are only found in animal products. Vegans should carefully observe the levels of intake for the nutrients listed below in order to maintain good health. Vegans with autoimmune, gut or chronic inflammatory issues need to stay far away from a vegan diet even if they supplement with these 20 nutrients'..
