Hey. 36/F -

Pretty much been a hikikomori for most of my life with very short, intermittent periods of "living".

Biding my time until I can muster enough fortitude and confidence to exit this place.

In the mean time, delving into distraction after distraction, of which this is just another one.

Welcome to you. "Hikiomori" was a new term for me to learn, so thanks for expanding my knowledge. Sometimes distractions are all we have, but don't think distractions are a bad thing. They can be "living" life as well. They can be a godsend. I love distractions; music, nature, reading, they're all great. Enjoy the forum.

Hey, Alchemy333!!

Wow, here it is the term of me too, I never knew it before.

Been in distractions all over the last several years, and, in my case, I know that I am overdosing them, which is not good.

I am not sure which place you wish to leave, but I hope you mean the state you describe. So I wish to you this happens in a satisfying way.
