I was not born with a square jaw & chiseled facial features.
I'm, 6'1", always have exercised & been in decent shape.
And realistically, to have a GF, I would have had to target 5/10s and below due to my genetic facial features.

The situation with guys who get rejected often and guys who have always been rejected is very very different. Very different. To put it simply:

Intensity: Never having any acceptance > Frequent rejections > Rejection > Breakup

We are not talking about guys who get success sometimes and lose sometimes. We are talking about guys, who have never gotten any positive sign from a woman. I don't belong to that category anymore. I totally agree on the attraction issue.
Yes, females can no more alter to whom they are attracted than I can.
I can never be sexually attracted to an age appropriate, or overweight, or facially unattractive female anymore than the hot ones can be attracted to me.

So a long time ago I made a choice to pay for what I am attracted to. Is it optimal? Absolutely not.
But many guys like me DO wife up a 4 or 5/10, and not only make themselves miserable, but make the poor girl miserable too.
At least I keep my misery to myself, self medicate with booze as needed, and see escorts as I see fit.
