Hunter Biden's ex-biz partner links Joe Biden to China deal: 'A political or influence investment'

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/oct/22/hunter-bidens-ex-biz-partner-links-joe-biden-china/

Joe Biden along with his son took several $millions from China's leaders for no particular reason. Ummm. Isn't it like a crime for a politician to accept personal bribes especially from foreign powers in order to gain US support especially high ranking ones? Naaaaa. This is the USA (United Socialistic states of America). But, if someone steals a $2 candy bar from Walmart cops quickly show up and arrest the person. If this story is true, which it seems to be, Biden and his family should be put in jail for a long time not be in the running for president of the USA. Where is the media coverage on this story? Oh well. I guess it's just business as usual for our top politicians because so few citizens seem to care about right and wrong. Most just want more "free" stuff for themselves no matter what it costs this country.

It is the Washington Times, best to take it with a large grain of salt.

Unless Walmart has changed their policy again, in the last few months, there is no police for a $2 candy bar.

I doubt that our "democracy-ish" thing that we have, is on the way out. Though I actually hope Biden wins, not because I'm a fan, but because at least it would be "back to normal". Not that normal was good, it just wasn't this. I really don't think Trump cares about anything that's happened, or even that he's running the show. He's just a figurehead, the guy they put in front of the camera to just....say words, and his fans are like YEAH! While the rich people just do whatever they want behind the scenes.

At least Biden seems serious, like he's there to work, and at least keep things from getting so bad that we can't function.

I feel like whatever is going on with Biden, is nothing that hasn't been going on with just about everyone else in office, for a long time. I don't think it's a big deal.

Yeah, the credibility of any media is questionable nowadays. But, Tony Bobulinski, who was the CEO of a firm with Hunter Biden, discussed the money transfers that side stepped the business and he's turning over his documentation to the FBI for further investigation. That part seems credible.

However, the FBI, will probably just bury it and then later call it a mistake and blow it off like they've done recently with other high profile cases. They might arrest less substantial figures later on so they can say it's all taken care of.

I've seen police at Walmart will cuffs on someone recently. I don't know the reason. But, I have to assume it's for shoplifting. I didn't hear any guns shots or any disturbing sounds.

Well, we have been progressively leaning to the socialist side for awhile now. Throughout history governments have come and gone and drastically changed. It's inevitable ours will too. The US can only become so corrupt before it changes to some other form of government. If Biden wins he'll bring the socialists behind him and spend money we don't have like there's no tomorrow. I think the younger generation is fine with that. They are eager to give up all of their private information any way. So, things will at least change in that direction.

The president can issue lots of Executive Orders that can make drastic changes. That's kind of the only thing that works now because the two sides don't want the other side to win. It's not about what's good for the people or the country. It's all about showing strength and weaknesses to gain power for their side and get reelected.

I'm not saying Trump is a good president. I'm saying both sides suck. The few women I spoke to, all long time Democrats, have said they are voting for Biden because it's the lesser of two evils. They said they didn't like him either though but........ Why can't we have a great honest president who's sole motivation is for the people and this country? It's because it's too easy to turn into a crook when you become a powerful politician. So, there are no experienced honest politicians available. They all want to stay in the dark with their shady activities.

I think if we actually held politicians to the laws, percentage wise, like the average citizen is held to it would make a huge difference. We shouldn't allow things to drag out for years and then settle for minor penalties or none at all. Something universal like:

Steal < $100 = Community Service, education about theft, and repayment.
Steal > $20K = Same as above + short Jail Time.
Steal > $250K = Same as above + long Jail Time + pay incarceration expenses.
Steal > $1M = Same as above + work in public section for free for 20 years, or death, their choice.

It's too bad independents have absolutely no chance to become president because super packs, another huge problem, basically buy votes.

I don't doubt that at all, but I can assure you that it wasn't a $2 candy bar, unless he got violent over it.

^ Okay. Lets go with $50? The amount is still nothing compared to white collar crimes. White collar crimes often effect more people in much more serious ways. Lets see some white collar version of the Cops tv series during prime time where the cops slam the white collar criminal to the ground. Ha! ha!
